Scrapfest Blog Hop

In August, as well as going to see "Pink" in Melbourne, I am attending a luxury scrapbooking weekend at the Grand Mecure in Nelson. It is being organised by Trina McClune and Lyn Jordan. We have some guest tutors as well. To get to know some of the people attending we have been doing lots of things via our Facebook page (swaps, secret santa, etc)  Today we are having a Scrapfest By The Sea Blog Hop. It's a great way for us to see each others work.

Here is an Off  The Page project that I did with my cousin for her shop. It's funny how you have an idea in your head and by the time you finish, the project is nowhere near that idea. And so it was with this project. I was doing damask designs but I couldn't find the right template. I had seen lots of cakes on the internet using butterflies as decorations so we ran with that idea. Love butterflies.. The photo doesn't do it justice...

Unfortunately we can't eat it as it is made from cake dummies and cardstock... lol
Now it is time to head to Brenda's blog

Thanks for hopping by
