My goodness it seems like forever since I last blogged. I have been busy gardening, painting, etc as our son gets married in 6 weeks time. I painted our pergola yesterday - 5 hours and its still not finished! Just under half done.....
Hence I haven't done alot of crafting apart from the necessary birthday cards, etc. So tonight at craftersanonymous the lovely Lisa Bullock had a quick and easy project for us. I have made mine into a Fathers Day card - some of the other ladies made theirs into a Recipe apron.
I will put a gift card into the pocket and that will be my dads pressy and card done!! Happy Fathers Day Dad - love ya!

Helping Hudson 3D Challenge Wk 2
Abracadabra........
Hey Presto, Creative Mojo in abundance!!! Over at Crafters Anonymous, Colleen set us a challenge to make a wand. I had lots of ideas rolling around in my head but then life happened and the wand got put on the back burner. Last night I completed my wand and its nothing like what I had imagined. All I knew was that it had to be purple (did you know that the colour purple is linked to creativity) and had to have bling! Must have enough bling as my granddaughter loves it so I guess it will go home with her.

Helping Hudson Appeal
Go over and have a look at the website for this Appeal. It runs from 1 August - 22 August. They are raising funds to buy a walking frame for a little boy called Hudson. There are Tutorial Packages to buy and I must say the ones that I have bought are fabulous and well worth the $10 per bundle. They are also running weekly challenges for the three weeks of the Appeal. Below are my entries.
Sketch Challenge:
Colour Challenge: Rose Red, Pretty in Pink, Not Quite Navy
Technique Challenge: Rock n Roll
I have enjoyed doing these challenges - even if I had to go outside my comfort zone - but at least I gave it a go. Roll on next weeks Challenges.

Owl be seeing you.....
Tonight over at Swap Sisters we had our last Punch Art class with the fabulous Anne Brignall.
When I saw what supplies we needed, I thought, my goodness, these are unusual colours to be putting together. Well, look what it turned out to be.....
Super cute ah!!! A very fitting project for our last class. Thank you Anne for showing us how to make amazing things out of our Stampin' Up punches. It has been a real pleasure learning from you.
