YAY - I DID IT!!!!

We had another "Sundays With Sheri" class yesterday at Swap Sisters http://swapsisters.ning.com/. Boy, did I struggle with the making of the origami box. Poor Sheri - she is soo patient. In the end I wrote the instructions down and thought I would attempt the box at a later date (probably never!!) Well, today I decided it was not going to get the better of me so here is my version. I am pleased that I didn't give up as I am quite chuffed with the finished project.

My hubby's cousin has given birth to twin girls, Ava-Rose and Elyse. Congratulations Vicky and Lindsay. I was wondering "what to give them that was something just a bit different". This project came to mind. It is one of the free Tutorials that you get when you are a member of SWAP SISTERS. http://swapsisters@ning.com This Tutorial is one of Sue's (our fearless leader). She is so clever. Its such a great project to make. Its holds so much. I filled it with shampoo; soaps; baby lotion; feeders; washcothes and dummies.

Swap Sisters Colour Challenge

Over at Swap Sisters the wonderful Sue and her equally wonderful Design Team set us a Colour Challenge. It was to use Going Grey, Pretty In Pink, Perfect Plum and Whisper White. As I don't have anything of Going Grey I used Basic Grey Taffeta Ribbon. Please excuse my photo, the weather was not that great when I took it.
