Squishy Box

Here's my sample of the box that was for Tia's Monday class. Unfortunately Tia was sick so we didn't have the actual live class but she put a video up on Crafters Anonymous for us to follow. Isn't it a cute wee thing?

V Fold Card

Gosh where has the time gone... It's been busy times since last post. My grand daughter, my dil to be and me went to Auckland to see Taylor Swift. All I can say is "WOW" what a concert. It wasn't really a concert it was more of a theatrical production! There was fireworks, trapeze artists, an amazing tap dancer, a confetti gun and the magical Taylor Swift! Here's a pic of Shyanne with her merchandise.

We got home Monday night just in time for CA's online class. This week it was Anne Brignall's turn and she showed us how to do this fold card. I kept mine fairly simple as I had had not much time to make it before I went away (the perks of being on the Admin Team - we get the tute early).

Another 6 year old birthday

Reuben had another party to go to last weekend and this is the card I made Ty. It was so easy to make with my punches and is also a great way to use up some of your scraps.

I love Swaps!!!

It's because I love getting happy mail... I participated in a Friend to Friend swap thru UStamp and look what I got on Monday from my cyber friend Jackie Hardy from Florida. Cute and yummy things. I am in awe of the 3d projects that Jackie has sent me previously as they are always something that I would never think of making... Isn't this doggie just the cutest??? Who would have thought to use a stamp for a dogs ear - NOT ME!!! I also like, I mean LOVE, that she puts in yummy Reece's peanut butter chocolates and Hershey kisses. I was able to keep them to myself the first time I received them but now my grandson loves them (so him and I have been sharing) and THEN my hubby spotted them last night and now he likes them.. I should of hidden the box earlier lol. And I LOVE the card too - the cup is so pretty irl.

Sort of like origami....

Look at the card we made last night at Crafters Anonymous - isn't it gorgeous. You would think, looking at it, that it would be tricky to make but its not really. A few folds here and there and "voila". The super duper talented Julia (yep, my crafty friend - see previous post) did this class. I haven't put any sentiment onto mine yet as I will wait until a special birthday/event comes up.

Happy Birthday Crafty Friend

It was my friend Julia's birthday on Friday. She is such a crafty person (and I say that in a nice way) - her work is to die for - pop over to her blog and have a look see. This is the card I made her - I hope she liked it.

I just love using the butterfly die from Stampin Up - squirt a bit of shimmer paint on them and they look cute as!

Cup of tea anyone????

On Monday night we had a guest teacher, Tania Cordie, for our online class at Crafters Anonymous.
We made this cute tea cup. I loved making it and I can't wait to make more.

Quick card for my Dad

As per usual I left it to the last minute to make my Dad a Birthday card. I needed a quick and simple card. I saw a version of this card on the net but I forgot to note the maker of it (my apologies). Isn't the net a great place for inspiration.

60th Birthday

My dil's Dad turned 60 the other day. This is the card I made him - he is a very keen golfer. It is a CASE from Rhonda Fawcett (NZ's punch art queen). Another quick card (I am liking them!!!)
